Romsey's attractive Victorian Town Hall is licensed for Civil Weddings and Partnerships. We welcome bookings for ceremonies and receptions (click here to see room charges for the reception). The Court Room can accommodate up to 70 guests in a theatre style set up. The Council Chamber * has a capacity of up to 170 guests, or up to 120 guests with enough space for a dance floor. We have an in-house bar and can provide you with a list of catering and entertainment services, all of whom are familiar with the location and are ready to suit your every wish.

 

Civil Marriages must be booked simultaneously with the Town Hall and the local Registrar at Hayter House, Hayter Gardens, Romsey, Tel: 01794 513846.

* Town Hall Disability Access details:

  • Corridor width restricted.
  • Wheelchair access to disabled toilet only via the Court Room on ground floor.
  • To mezzanine floor: 15 steps each 120mm (5 ins) high.
  • To second floor Council Chamber: further 17 steps each 150mm (6 ins) high.
There is no disabled access to the Council Chamber. If you require a similar venue with disabled access then contact The Crosfield Hall off Broadwater Road, Romsey (bookings: 01264 368716).
